Hello all!
I can not express how excited I am to fly off to South Africa for my program. This past spring semester was my last full time semester, I just finished moving into a new apartment in New Brunswick, and I just took my first GRE. It has been a stressful summer for me so far, and I have no illusion that this experience will be anything like a vacation, but it will be refreshing to travel and get hands on experience with animals again. While I am on the expedition I have to set time aside to work on vet school applications, with the hopes that other students are at the same step as me and we can assist eachother while working on the applications. Beyond all of that, it feels surreal that this is finally going to happen. I have had my fill of traveling and I enjoy working with animals immensely. Even so, EcoLife is giving me the opportunity to travel to a new continent, not just a new country, and to directly interact with animals that I have only dreamed about having direct experiences with.
I look forward to updating you all on my travels.
