Hello everyone! I’ve been meaning to make my second post but my WiFi has been giving me trouble. I’ll post some pictures later when I can go back and edit them. Anyway, my last week at TEC was on Saturday and it was bittersweet. I want to thank all of the people I met during the wildlife course and let them know that these experiences I’ve had so far are some of the best of my life. Our last official field day was an interesting one because we had the chance to perform necropsies on peccaries and some birds. Very interesting to see how Dr. Eva Restis conducted one and explained everything step by step. There was also the experience of the bird mist netting that I’ve never done before. The process and careful hand and training that you need to have to handle the birds was intimidating. I’m so sad to have left TEC but on to my next adventure and I’m excited to tell everyone about it!
