We had more home visits today of patients who both were victims of motorcycle accidents. Again, it was emphasized how prominent motorcycle accidents are in Thailand, and how debilitating they can be. We went to the local school to give a physical exam to the children. We measured their height and weight, gave them an eye exam, and also checked for bites, bruises, rashes, poor dental hygiene, and more. It was a very systematic process, but was still chaotic because there were a lot of students. The clinic trusted us to take their stats, which felt uncomfortable, but it was nothing too serious that they were asking for us to do. We rushed back to the hotel to clean up and change our outfits before we went to the Siam Niramit show. The show was a cultural performance about the history of Thailand. The performance was spectacular with all the wonderful costumes, sound effects, and backdrops.
