This was the most magical farm that I have ever been to. In fact, it may have been the most magical place I have ever been to, period. I loved being greeted by a giant group of waggly dogs and then getting to watch them get neutered. I wish I could have been one of the people to neuter the dogs or spay the cat but nonetheless, I still had an amazing time there. The whole experience was just so unforgettable and amazing. I was lucky enough to work with one of the mules named Salseeta which was really cool because I had never seen a mule in person before. I was also proud of myself that day because when I was giving a horse the encephalitis vaccine intramuscularly, the owner was standing next to me and told me to put the needle all the way in. I felt pressured to do what he said even though I knew it was incorrect, so I trusted my knowledge and gut and did not push the needle all the way in as to not injure the horse. After the physical exam quiz and vaccinations, I swam in the stream under one of the waterfalls and felt like I was in a dream. I thought the day could not get any better or more magical, but the horseback riding experience showed me otherwise. It was absolutely incredible venturing into the jungle on horseback and listening to beautiful poems on a hilltop with a breathtaking view. I honestly don’t think I will ever forget this day.
