Jessica Thorning is a junior at Rutgers University – New Brunswick with a major in Landscape Architecture and a minor in Plant Science. She will be participating in the ‘Landscape Architecture in Germany’ study abroad program this summer. She is very passionate about the field and will also be travelling to Xi’an, China this summer to conduct an independent research study on night markets, as well as staying in Essen, Germany after her study abroad program to do an internship with Emschergenossenschaft. She loves plants, beekeeping, knitting, and spending time with her family.
