Study Abroad is an opportunity to enhance cultural awareness and participate in new cross-cultural experiences while earning credits towards graduation. Students are encouraged to explore the world through one of many program offerings including faculty-led experiences, short-term and semester-based programs, or by directly enrolling at partner universities.
The numerous study abroad options offered at Rutgers University have been designed to meet the needs of the 21st-century graduate. Students have the option of studying directly within their majors, minors, or for core credit. Program options include short-term summer and winter courses, international research and internships, or traditional semester and academic year programs.
New virtual study abroad programs for summer 2020 have also been developed in response to the COVID-19 shutdowns.
For specific information on different study abroad programs, please visit the Rutgers Global—Study Abroad website or schedule an appointment with a SEBS Office of Global Engagement team member today. Virtual appointments are available.
